Can we meet you?
My name is Adebayo Richard Tolani. My stage name is Richie Pro. I am currently in my ND2 in FEDERAL POLYTHENIC ILARO.

For you, is Rap inbuilt or something you developed?
Rap is something I personally developed myself. My friends influenced me back in school to try writing songs since I am very good at writing. I never even imagined that I will be a rapper one day.

How and When did you start as a Rapper?
I started as a rapper in year 2014 but then, I write raps just for fun. However, I officially released my first song in 2017 (mid last year).

As a Rapper that is just coming up,how has it been so far and do you just rap during your leisure hours for pleasure or you intend becoming a full-time Rapper now or in the nearest future?
I rap at my leisure period and at the same time I also intend to be a full-time rapper. Rapping hasn't been easy so far, different challenges here and there such as educational and social challenges.

What else do you do apart from Rap?
I write poems, I act and I am also into modelling.

What perception about Rap do you want to change in this modern day society that we live in?
The perception I would like to change about rap is that everyone believes you can not make money from the "rap genre", even "olamide baddo" once said this and this believe is making rappers turn into singers. Nobody wants to rap again.

What are the challenges you face as a Rap Artist that is just coming up that you think other upcoming Rappers might also be facing? And what is your advice for fellow rap artists?
The major challenge I think most upcoming artists are facing is lack of sponsors. Music is now so funny that people who are not worth to be called artists are those people that are getting signed into big record labels. I know a lot of people that are really good, music is what they do best yet no one is paying attention to them. It is so sad. My advice for my fellow upcoming artists is that they should never give up and also put God first. It is not by knowing how to rap but by the mercy of God. They should keep doing what they know how to do best.

What kind of Rap do you do? And for you, is it strictly rap or u sing?
I do hardcore rap and sometimes I do trap but not often. I mainly do hardcore rap.

Where do you see yourself in the next five to ten years?
In the next ten years I see my self having my own record label, signing artists, winning awards and also having international collaborations with the likes of Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar e.t.c.

How does anyone who would like to listen to your rap songs download them; And how would someone who wants to invite you for a show contact you? What are your Social Media handles like your facebook page and Instagram ID, Twitter Handle?
Once you go to the search engine google you can just type richie pro songs and it will bring out my songs. You can also add me up on Instagram @richiepro1 and Facebook @Adebayo Richard
