Oh!
you menses the pain of womanhood
In
you lies the happiness of a life time
On
and on your burden is borne like a heavy wood
Do
you speak of a woman in her prime?
You
come and go like a friendly friend to some
To
others you sting like a pregnant bee
No
woman dares envisage the day you would come
If
I was your creator would I let you be?
Your
absence causes a terrible worry
With
your presence comes a severe pain
You
tarry along attracting plenty sorry
But
without you what do I stand to gain?
To
aged women, keeping you will do them good
To
young girls, discarding you is their belief
Oh!
you menses the pain of womanhood
Is your pause a
mischief or a relief?
